Greetings 5th Graders!
This week we discussed how an ordinary event in life can turn into an adventure. There were several examples given in class. One example that comes to my mind was the time we were all walking to gym and there was a BAT hanging from the doorway!!! Who would've thought that we would encounter a bat on our routine walk to P.E. class?! That definitely turned an ordinary day into an adventure for us and other people at Lindop.
Your task is to share a personal experience from when YOU had an ordinary event turn into an adventure. Explain what made it an adventure. Make sure to use proper grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc.

A ordinary event that happened to me was. I was in my backyard and I found a path next to the side of my garage.So then I followed that path and I saw a bunny and I started to play with it and then I kept it a secret.

when i was walking on the beach on a odinary day and i saw a baby whale on the sand and it was running out of air and me and some other pepole helped save it and put it back in the water

A ordinary event happen to me is when I was in my backyard playing and diging and hopping etc. Then I saw a loose dog running toward me and I started running. That was a ordinary event that turned in a adventure!

One time I was playing games when mom ask me to take out the trash when i found a four leaf clover i told my mom about it and she said i would have good luck one winter it blue out my hand and to this day i till lick for it

You can turn an ordinary day into an adventure by just doing something out of the ordinary or extraordinary. One day I was sitting on the couch watching t.v. when my brother jumped on my face. I was angry. That was an adventure. I was ordinarily watching t.v. on the couch when something extraordinary happened when my brother jumped on my face. That was an adventure for me.

An ordinary event that happened to me was, when I was playing this team name "Rockets". I was hot at the beginning while making all my shots and by the end of the game, I had 25 points and 12 rebounds. I wasn't surprise and I kept doing it over and over again.

ReplyDeleteAn ordinary event that turned into a adventure is when I was coming home from my auntie's house. There was a racoon in my backyard. I was so scared including my sister and mother. We were just sitting in the car waiting for the racoon to leave, but it didn't. That is when we found out raccon's aren't scared of anything. So me, my sister, and my mother had made a whole routin on getting out of the car. We were going to through the back door but we didn't we went through the front because of the racoon. That is when my ordinary day turned into a adventure
A time a ordinary event turned into an adventure is when I was walking to school I had tripped over a rock. Just when I got up a huge dog is running after me like he was ready to Knaw me up! So I got up and turned 20th corner. Just then i looked back the dog was STILL chasing me. But I got out of breath and I was so tired I did not want to run. So i hid under this tree and the dog did not see me I said "YES!, OVERWHELMED". When the dog was out of my sight,I ran to school and told my freinds how an ordinary walk to school came in adventure!

A ordinary event that happen to me was when I was at the zoo and my mom had left me and my friend by ourselves and we where by the lion kingdom.So we decide to have an adventure and explore the rest of the zoo and then we got hungry and we found my mom.That was the greatest moment of my life.

An ordinary event was that i found pictures of me when i was a baby. i kept on thinking bout when i was little i was cute. I had a picture of me in my mommy tommy . I met my sisters and brother and daddy. he alway pick me up and i still look the same my favorite food is pizza and spinach . my favorite fruit is watermelon in mango.My favorite junk food is cookies, candy ,chips.

one day i was walking on the sidewalk and i saw a bunny-rabbit. then i dicided to see where it was going. i was so engrossed in the bunny that i lost where and how to get home. that is how an ordinary day turned in to an adventure.

A ordinary event that happened to me was when I was playing with my dog Nina. Then the next thing you know it she started running around me in circles with a latex wire collar. I fell and my legs were pale. That was pretty weird and scary.
