This week we read an interview with Ellen Ochoa, the world's first Hispanic female astronaut. In class we discussed what life would be like as an astronaut. What is something you learned this week? Would you like to live the life of an astronaut? Why or why not?

ReplyDeleteI learned that it is very difficult to become an astronaut. You have to go through years of training. Sometimes if you're a parent you have to be away from your family for missions. I would not like to live the life of an astronaut because you have to be away from your family for a while and I love to have my family close.

I did learn something this week.I learned how astronauts live life in space.Their life is very hard in space.Why I wouldn't want to be a astronaut is because I don't have the patient to stay in one spot and eat food out of a straw and that's the reason I wou'd not want to be a astronaut.

I learned that it is difficult to become an astronaut.You have to eat dry food.Even you have to leave your family to also become an astronaut.You have to work hard in your training so that you can prepare for a mission.I want to see my family everyday and not be an astronaut so that you can't see your family.

I learned is takes an hard-working person to become an astronaut. All of that training, training, and training. NO! Thats because of how you go to sleep, eating, and drinking so no. Also, because if you have kids, and you go away, thats not right, because you are supposed to teach your kids life and toughness, and what it take to be an grown man/woman. So instead, I'm going to be an athlete. To show my skill, instead of being an astronaut. I don't even know if you get payed an astronaut. My body is not made for an astronaut, like serious what person that thinks their good are going to be wasting their time being an astronaut.

I learned that astronauts go through tough trianing. i leadned that when you go into space theres a curtien food that you hae to eat. there is a diffrent way to do things. its inportant to sleep straped down in space because if not youll just flote away

DeleteNo, I would not like to live the life of an astronaut because several reasons. First is because I heard that some rocket ships go 5 miles per second. That's ALOT. Next is because you have to go through lots of training, this might take you years. Also is because when I read that you have to leave your family I cant imagine not being with my family for a week or two, it's reallly important to me take care of your family at ALL times. As well as the food in space they say they give you dried food, I have to eat something like pizaa or chicken. Finally is because I'm not the best student in math or science.
ReplyDeleteI learned that being a astronaut involves alot of tranning and it is a difficult job. So I wouldnt want to be a astronaut because I dont like heights and I dont like space food so I couldnt hanndle it.And I would miss my family aswell. and thats why i dont want to be a astronaut.

I would not want to be an astronaut because it sounds like they have to do alot of training and I dont want to go in space eating space food.Also,I'm claustrophobic so its going to be hard for me to sit in a little space.

I learned that astronauts can have two jobs. One, being an astronaut and two, being a parent. I wouldn't want to live a life of an astronaut because I would miss my family and they will miss me as well. Even though I can send E-mails it would be to hard.

I learned that astronauts have to do a lot of training before they go into space. They also have to eat and drink different things than people on earth do when they go up into space. When you go into space then you have to be in a small training spot. I would not want to live like an astronaut for many different reasons. 1 is because you have to eat dry foods until you come down from space. Also you have to be in a small tight space with other astronuats. Then I wouln't want to be an astronuat because you have to stay up there for a while. So no I would not want to be an astronaut ever because of what they have to do. ~Brianna McGahee~
